I had a catscan recently and my joints were stiff for months afterward. I wondered if that was just a coincidence or if the dye caused it. My joints were never stiff before.has anyone else had this problem?

My ct scan of the chest, abdomen, pelvis came out negative for malignancy. Has the ct scan detected the bones for any abnormality?

    Thanks, Sue.

    Hi Sue,

The CT scan does evaluate the bones but the detection "accuracy" depends on the type of malignancy. Some early stage tumors or metastases may not show up on the CT.
